They build a four-foot nest at the very first. When the nest is built, at the bottom she puts all the eggs and then sat over them. She sits over the eggs to protect them and to nourish them as well.

The warmth will let the eggs to hatch properly and by sitting on the nest, she will protect the eggs from egg murders as well. It has been seen that usually, snakes do not cooperate with the same.

These are found to be the enemies to the eggs of the snake. Thus, it is necessary for a snake mother to protect her ones.

There are around 36 species of rattlesnakes are available and in all these species 65-70 are subspecies. All these are found to be the ones which are typically the natives of America and sidewise regions.

These are known to be predators, which usually feed on birds and rodents. They catch their prey in such a manner that nothing can get clear about it.

  • Python:

When it comes to looking at the nature of these snakes possess, then these are the nonvenomous snake that is not found to that much dangerous to man.

These are known to be the largest snakes found in the world. These are total 8 genera which are recognized and apart from it, 31 species are there which are known as well.

  • Nature: 

Rattlesnakes are known to be the venomous snakes, i.e. these are the poisonous snakes, whereas pythons are found to be non-venomous snakes, i.e. these are found to be the non-poisonous snakes.

  • Feeding habits:

When it comes to the feeding habits of rattlesnakes, then these are known to be feed on hawks, weasels, king snakes, and a variety of other species, while the feeding habits of pythons includes the prey which is killed in constrictions, i.e. they do not kill the prey directly.

As soon as they see the prey, they coil around it and feed it as well.

In rattlesnakes, the feeding habit continues to be the same while in python, the larger ones feed on larger pets and animals such as house cat.

  • Reproduction:

When it comes to reproduction in rattlesnake, males fight with each other to copulate with a female.

The one who wins will be able to copulate with the female. Also, the form of dance in which they do is, they move spirally and get coiled over each other, whereas in python no such dance form notices.

The reproduction process is simple; rattlesnakes and pythons are oviparous.

How long do snakes look after their young?

When it comes to looking for the period for which the female snake looks to her a baby is just two weeks.

As soon as the baby started to grow they just get separated with them and let then start their life on their own. There is no foundation for any of the female to stay with them for long.

Usually, it has been seen that some of the snakes are so which just get separate from their eggs as soon as the egg is hatched and get separated. They do not look to their eggs again after.

When it comes to taking care of the young ones, the mother and the father snake do not take any kind of a pain to look after them. Rather they just leave them on their own. Also, there is nothing that is hidden in their life cycles.

The young snakes learn things with fellow snakes. It has been found that the retaining power snakes have is very good and they do capture and retain things for long.

There is nothing which is missed in their vibes and also there is nothing which is missed from their eye which is happening around.

Moreover, it has been seen that at the very first the young snake focuses on the surrounding along with themselves. Being aggressive they try to get the habit of the same and then get developed with the same.

Every species have a certain feature that is used to identify whether the snake is a young one or an adult one. You can take the example of a rattlesnake.

In these rattlesnakes, the adult one has the rattle available but the young ones are not available with the same. In the same way, you can identify the growth period of another snake.

Also, you can identify the age of the snake by the way it attacks to catch the prey.

The adult ones are found to be the experienced ones and how they attack is also prominent, while the ones which are the adult are not capable of the same and hence are not available with good attacking power.

Some of the eggs are eaten by the enemies and also some of them not get hatched at all. This varies accordingly.

These snakes do not take care of their eggs and left them, as it is. The fellow enemies come and destroy the eggs. Hence there will be no scope for development is left.
